Mental Dent Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Mental Dent

Mental dent

Memories do exist
And may insist
For recurrences
Often when we wake dig at once

No one forgets
And let it
Slip away
Without satisfying the mental pathway

Poverty or otherwise
Makes man wise
His struggle days occupy importance
And sometimes make him tense again

The recent honor given
Brings some tears and even
Sadness rushes on face
After wiping tears rush

Such are the sentiments
Those in mind send
Shock waves and make you absent
From daily life and make mental dent
