Mental Health Poem by Tracy Sullivan

Mental Health

My Borderline Personality Disorder!

The light may be on,
but the day is dark.
I wear a smile with pride,
but the sadness I hide.
I may shout and scream,
but only I know what I mean.
My feelings can be so very intense,
But to others, my actions will not make sense.
Relationships are hard to keep together,
For fears that nothing can last forever.
Some times I need to be left alone,
As my insecurities I'd be trying to own.
I push people hard and far away,
But in my heart I want them to stay.X
