The Menopause. Poem by Tracy Sullivan

The Menopause.

The Menopause has hit me now,
So I apologise if I seem a cow.
Some 'hot' stuff moments in the day,
Some 'smouldering' night.. Or so they say.

'Strong' as I am... I'll get on through,
Knowing 'friends'.. I have all 'you'.
One person.. I have put it all on
And really glad... He hasn't gone.

So with this warning in advance,
I hope you guys will give me a chance.
My horrid words will not seem real,
If our friendship is as strong as steel!

If tempers raise and tones get loud,
My thoughts get heavy with a dark cloud.
But I find its best to walk away,
Having my say on another day!
