Mental Locality Poem by MARIE FRANCIS

Mental Locality

Rating: 5.0

Footsteps sound a distant call!

To those that walk the way

Heads, tall!

Viewing... The sights of the night...

...and the might of the fight!

Master?

Saviour?

An echoed call...

Nothing... knows all*

...and knowledge is now reading a chapter

Of higher learning,

Seeking further understanding...

Resurgence of hope creeps still -

~breaking memories quietly!

While footsteps still sound a hallow call of scratches and thumps

Leaving mystery lagging behind

~not romance*

Silhouettes dance in the moonlight*

Even the blind can see

A characteristic of this locality!

No traces of shadows linger - nothing here is irrevocable...

Euphoria a true mystical disposition - untraceable*

This astigmatism is a mental condition - not a geographical location! ! !
