Mentality Poem by Lyrael Myrna

Mentality

Rating: 4.8

She’s sick of this sickness
She’s tired from this tiredness
She’s crazed from this madness
She’s destroyed by these words

She’s not fond of the memories
Not liking the marks left
Composed of delusions
Scattered Illusions

“They took me on my wildest dreams
They took me out of misery
They saw the image of my life
They knew my mind was in some strife”

What the hell are you?
Where do you come from?
Sullen though impassive
She must be a fantasy

Lost imperfections
A delight for the neighbours
She’s up all night
Devising mind maps

Concocting life plans
Scheming her memories
Lying to save her self
Making damn sure that
No one is watching
