Meow Poem by Victoria Gauci

Meow

Rating: 1.0

'Meow' said the cat as her tail swept by,
Twitching and twirling away,
Strutting her stuff with the grace of a snake,
Looking for some place to lay,

'Leave me alone' she thought to herself,
As she slid to a place in the sun,
Sleeping and purring is all I can do,
Till my master says dinner is done,

Tis a cats own destiny to be what she is,
A snob, stuck up as they come,
A lift of her chin, A flicker of paw,
Her message hit the road, take a run,

Though in the best times, purrrly her choice,
A cat can be such a good friend,
She'll snuggle and cuddle and warm up your feet,
And cheer your heart in the end.
