Mercy I Say Never Poem by ANTHONY KIRUI

Mercy I Say Never

Rating: 3.5

Your silence indicates it is over,
To that decision I say never,
For our relationship was not a Passover,
But it is meant to last forever,

You are a great achiever,
And more precious than silver,
Very indeed clever,
That's why to love you I will always be a striver,

I will like to see you a forgiver,
And not to be a mover,
For you are always my screensaver,
In you I am a believer,

Don't let problems of last year spill over,
For I want you to be my reliever,
For me to always love deliver,
I can feel your love in my liver,

You come Nairobi whenever,
Please make in my house a stopover,
My house is near the flyover,
In my bed there is your bedcover,

For I want our love to be a surviver,
And in you glamorous physique I am a observer,
Forever there will be no handover,
For I will never make you a leftover,

I will take you on a valentine's trip to Vancouver,
There will be a takeover,
For I will wear you as my lifetime pullover,
And I will always be your revolver,
