Mere Thought. Poem by syma tasaduq

Mere Thought.

To meet my mate since he's away
A wish in me grew green.
Mile by mile i crossed the road
That never in real had been.

All my day and night
I craved for his sight
I carved the very exact eyes,
And moustache to my delight;

...in the caves on my ways,
On my mind with hue and sheen
On that cloud that shades the path
That never in real had been.

I went in sun with birds and light
All my fellow travellers
And starry night that guides me right
And winds to blow away curse.

For dear goal, there stream of mirror,
Showed me myself so keen,
Iron-willed to cross those hills
That never in real had been.

There luck is slave of my will,
My wish rules forecast
Cobweb routes untwist themselves
And winds obey my mast.

Light and shade, color of jade
All prisoned in my eye.
A life comes to wake me up
Every time I die.

Ipass the day and cross the road
No tear shed, no horse to ride.
Just glimpse of thought or pensive mood.
Then my dear is at my side.

Make him lie and close his eye
To view the domain unseen
To attend me there, at sunset glare
..that never in real had been.

The inner voyage is blissful and infinite than the worldly voyage. The words, the rhythm and the imagery flow naturally to carry the reader with it. Wonderful poem.10++++++++++++ CP
