beautiful creatures artfully
swim
through the light of the
ocean that's dim;
they still see
the still breath.
they unconditionally and
forever love.
different from the strange
beings
that walk the land above.
water;
the deep blue sea;
the only world they've ever known

in this body of water
they have no worries.
they'll forever be free.
long beautiful hair
is followed by a body
covered with bright shining scales.
she has a lovely voice held captive.
it sounds like a sweet melody,
even when she yells.
a mermaid
unmistakenly has been sighted
you've seen her now,
to her world
you've been carefully invited.
let go and let yourself be
one with the beauty
of life's living sea.
