How did you come to me out of the blue?
You seemed to calm the storm inside of me,
And suddenly the world did sound okay: —
Although I've heard before all what you've said! —
I guess your passion echoed in my head,
And silenced voices from my yesterday; —
It saddens me we may not meant to be…—
Or mesmerized, I was but all at sea,
Alas, one gaze too late to be at bay; —
I should have gazed at shooting stars instead! —
Now I feel you, and that I think I dread:
Addiction only leads to disarray;
Well, hell! Just kiss me and don't set me free,
Too deep you're yet, I'd love to drown in you!
