Messager Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Messager

I am a messager
An oracle of God
A seer that seen across the seas
He who sent me, had given all
You cannot chase a man
Whom have arrived.
I am a refined gold
Passes through the heart of furnace fire
An ashes wouldn't scared me
Neither a cloak nightmares.
I have ploughed on the seas and oceans
Sew my seeds in a midst of the stars.
I am a messager
A town crier whom is known by his voice
He who sent me, had given all
I have crosses the troublesome seas and oceans
I have passed forbidden palace of the spirit
The sons and daughters of the spirit
Saw me and danced.
I am like a rising sun
A morning dews, that softened the hunter's feet
A softened romance breeze
A lily, princess yearned to dwell.
