Metamorphic - Poem by renato mascardo

you have to understand
you really have to ken
each time i touch your mind
you are grasping mine

the act of intimating
you ought to know by now
is moving through
a two way street

imparting is not simply handing
away it is also holding in exchange
both sides hoping for fairness in the end
a harmonious mind blending

years from now after the cleaving
when two beings have long parted
you will remember i hope with fondness
that you and i were metamorphosed
though we knew not each other biblically
we intimated together quite creatively//
