Solitaire Dinner Set
solitaire dinner set
a single napkin ring
a candle lit
the view of the lake now unobstructed
a goblet no longer tinkling against another
a dining room mourning in semidarkness
i raise my wine cup half in toast
in the company of shadows
the echoes of the past//
