Methuselah 969 Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Methuselah 969

A life so long, a thousand years near,
A giant story, held so dear.
He walked the earth, a breath held deep,
While generations fell asleep.

God's gentle hand, a patient gaze,
Through sunlit dawns and misty haze.
A time to mend, to turn anew,
Before the waters, strong and true.

His years a whisper, soft and low,
A chance to change, to help things grow.
A lesson etched in ancient time,
Of grace and mercy, so sublime.
