Mezhoo
In times, I feel guilty
-seeing past keep marching
-with names of locations
-dying off by changing, burying
-the reasons and causes for naming…
Smallest example is place of my birth
-our village; Fesharak
-now a myth its past and history
I recall parts of our dialogue
-a word, sound was the "La"
-we said it like Arabs saying "No"
-but meaning was reverse:
- (surrounded, much, many, plenty)
-La and name, simply represents
- "Filled with the…! "
La Mezhoo, therefore, means:
- "Plenty of Mezhoo" or "Flax"
The same was for grass
-as "La Margh"
-La Yonjeh (full of hay for graze)
-La Seili (for flood)
-La Bidestoon (willow-trees)
-La Lia
-La Konjed; and far more…
I left there as a child
-never saw flax-seeds; saw fibre
-they made ropes
- (sort of rough, long lasting)
-better ropes were made of goat's mohair
None of those is alive
-most of them if not all, are dead, gone
-and with them the cause for settlement
-must have been a heaven, (It is sad!)
-must have been well-chosen and well-named: "Fesharak"
-must have been very wise; my great ancestors …

I would like to translate this poem
I guess English tacks on a '-ful'
