Michigan Summer Poem by Rhonda Baker

Michigan Summer

Rating: 5.0

School has come to an end
Summer now, our new best friend
Picnics, camping and trips up north
Fireworks on the fourth
Mosquito bits and games of ball
Sunny beaches, we love them all
Nights with s’mores and campfire light
Motorboats and fish with fight
Hiking woods and biking trails
Sandy beaches and boats with sails
Michigan my heart my home
It’s here that I love most to roam
