Mid-Work Stroll Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

We work
indoors
or outdoors
in office
or house
or work place
work, a conglomeration of transactions
many transactions occur
where tension is born
disagreement arises
or parameters beyond control
if one does an interim walk
between the transactions
it helps restore the mind
to a cool, equilibrium position
to prepare for the next transaction
with no premonition
emotions need to be avoided
to work in a rational way
a mid-work stroll helps
to recharge the body
and retrieve the mind
back to normalcy.
