Midas Touch Poem by Ismael Iniguez Carvajal

Midas Touch

If i could wonder why
Everything I touch seems to die
My hands are cold
My Heart is numb
I breath disease in my lungs

If I only could change the fact
that there's no turning back

If there's a shred of hope
Seen with eyes
To solve the mystery
That ruins lives

To stop and wait
To hold my tongue
Being scared
Wanting to run
But this is something
I can't hide from

I'm so confused I wish I knew
Just what to do...

But the answer is in my hands
And in my fingers
I cause it to linger

It takes it's time to manifest
Watching it
sink to new depths

Its all in my hands
