Midnight. Poem by James Brennan

Midnight.

She shook
Midnight out of her hair
As she awoke
Bringing new life
To mornings call,
Stars fell upon us
As we sat at
Her feet,
We gazed upon her and
Her mysticism
Touched
Emotion within us.
We left and created
The things
She inspired
Within us
And she was filled
With joy,
This, in turn,
Filled our elated hearts,
And the circle was complete.
