Midnight Poem by Meng Lim Dr

Midnight

I waited and waited
where were you?
the night mocked me
what wrong did I do?

amid the winds and shadows
a mysterious voice came from the blue:
ah, you desolate and piteous fool
she's with another--her love is untrue!
