Midnight Road Poem by Shade Necro

Midnight Road

Here I sit
Starring at the moon
Wondering what's next
Will I take to the stars
Or find unhappiness

The midnight air
It dose me well
To ponder life challenges
And what can be hell

My baby at my side
Keeping me in check
Always making me smile
Though we go through hell And back

What can be our purpose
On this midnight ride through life
Will we hit a detour
Or drive on all night

The drinks are gone but memory's remain
Of that roads I took to get here
Even if some were the same

It feels good leaving a mask behind
Keeping a name
And having a good time

Friends come and go
And this I'll always know
But sometimes it hurts the same

To question what you believe
Is mans greatest gain
Who god is and what is in store next
Will never be revealed

To question your belief is
To venture on a will
Weather it rains or snows
This is what man can predict

Society's technology
Is a wonderful aspect
But when you sit and wonder
As to What's going on
you'll never find the answer
In this world we all live

Ancestors in the past
Would cry today
Of what we have become
Criminals and liers
Gods forsaken ones

Where are all our morals
Our humanity
Did we drop them on the road
Or do they watch me

Some they pick their poison
Others they do not
To harm one self intentionally
Of Logic there is not

Some will cheat
Others will lie
Some like me keep on driving
with god on our side

To be born blind and see
Is a blessing to me
But to see the sins of the world
makes me question the belief

Is man still man
Or what have we become
Another number to the beast
Or a life to make a war won

There will always be a search
For the start that has no end
And all these plastic people
You hope their still your friends

With what I have to guide me
On this road through hell
I do not know
Or wish to know
Where it ought to go

I'll make my turns and take the toll
If its all my choice
But here there or anywhere
If anywhere is to be

I look to god for guidence
And keep the name my family gave to me
Honor and my name
Are most I have
But intelligence and kindness
Are how I tend to be

So when the saints are looking
Right down at me
They bless me in many ways
With hope and love like it's meant to be

I try to wait my turn
Hopping it'll go well
Like it dose normally
But I take it all

With karma it's the same
Or luck if thats your game
What ever you think gives you hope
Will normally be the same

So I'll keep on driving
Looking at the moon
The saints that be
Bless me
For it always guides me home
