Midnight Rumination Poem by Chirag Sharma

Midnight Rumination

She meets me at the horizon of life
She is the sun, I am the sky
I am boundless with an internal strife
She is ephemeral, yet all my reasons, boundless as sky

A tale of romance and of longing
A saga of an eternal bliss
As cold as downpour on a winter morning Moments remain for ages and ages, with my eyes closed we kiss! I

I ponder and ponder, is it the connection of life prior!
For I get closer, despite umpteen needles through my chest
Feigning those laughters, am I an ignorant liar?
For the only truth I know, is the presence that gives my life a zest!
