Mihai Eminescu - Si Ramas... Comments

Wonderful thing you do, translating and spreading the word of one of the most loved Romanian poet, a bow with lots of thanks! I grew up with Mihai Eminescu's poems! But I do not understand this very kind tongue, I can only guess it could be the translation of this poem? Am I wrong? Thank you! Si daca Si daca ramuri bat în geam Si se cutremur plopii, E ca în minte sa te am Si-ncet sa te apropii. Si daca stele bat în lac Adâncu-i luminându-l, E ca durerea mea s-o-mpac Înseninându-mi gândul. Si daca norii desi se duc De iese-n luciu luna, E ca aminte sa-mi aduc De tine-ntotdeauna.
