Mind Games - Poem by Linda Nelson

A soul that burns
A heart that yearns
A touch that is so pleasing to feel
A mind that wonders is all this real
A hand to hold
Lips that are soft and bold
Eyes that shimmer and shine
All this is to much for the mind
Your inner beauty is a guiding light
And I have tried to resist you with all of my might
It's really hard to do
Because whenever I close my eyes
You appear out of the blue
Are you the soulmate that I'm trying to find?
Or just a fantasy playing in the fertile imagination
of my mind.
