Mini Skirt Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Mini Skirt

Mini skirt

The paintings on the walls, of the past, rule-eras
Original in a way meaningful
In changes kings crash; lowers climb to thrones
Come changes to cities in Iran.

New Lords, new rulers, wealthy new, brands change.

Old paintings lost under, everywhere surface made
One layer, and second to the third; occasions go to ten.

Look at the Chelsotoun, Esfahan
Big houses of mirror, or Marmar.

We have seen; are experts
We know how customs change
Once sourmeh and vasmeh
Once matik, rozhe lab…
Shaliteh ba tonboon
Tonokeh Pahlavi
Daman tang
Mini skirt.
