Minutes Pass So Slow Poem by Forever Underestimated

Minutes Pass So Slow

Rating: 5.0

Minutes pass so slow
When you have nothing to do.
My body is consumed by thought
As I wait to get to you.

I don't think you could call this boredom.
Perhaps just impatience or shame.
When minutes pass so slowly,
You have only yourself to blame.
Hidden under shadows,
But eyes will never tame.

I could easily escape,
So close the door is.
But this 'good' reputation I must keep,
And I must stay in place.

Stress fills the air
I'm being pressed down apon
As I'm waiting for time to pass,
I continue to fall down.

Minutes pass so slow
When you have nothing to do.
My body is consumed by thought
When I finally get to you.
