Mirror Poem by Somniator Moon

Mirror

A familiar face I see
Looking at me
The image I did store
Is not the same as the one I'm before

Dark circles under their eyes
Their hair is covered with dyes
I never thought
They were so short

They seem to be carrying more weight
Last I remember they were a size eight
I would like to query
Why they look so weary

Somehow though they look content
Happy with a life well spent
How could this be?
I'm looking at me...
