I stare back at myself
and look in disgust.
Hearing words so brutal
from every one I trust.
I have to be perfect
even better then the best.
Although it is killing me
to be just like the rest.
I'll change myself into nothing
so I can be accepted this way.
To be what you want me to be
with every rule that you want me to obey.
Just to die a fake
like I never even mattered.
Regardless how hard I tried
the mirror of hate never shattered.
