Missed Poem by Tamela Ellis

Missed

In shock and awe she sits
away.
Her heart growing colder by the
day.
She reflects on her life with such
dismay.
Without one positive thing to
say.
The agony she feels forces her to
pray.
Praying for a better brighter
day.
The days are bright, but in her eyes they're
grey.
She prays for God to make a
way.
With no end in
sight.
She's thinking 'right, might, different
plight',
As she fights dreams while slumbering in the
night.
Her will's derived from the way she
feels.
Missing the life in which time
steals.
Her perfect life does not
exist....
Like Satan has her life in his
fist.
All at once God spoke to her
heart,
Saying 'as long as i'm here we will never
part'.
She felt renewed, insued as she persued that she controlled and God
has to hold.
Jumping for joy, she feels
annointed.
The feeling she feels means she's no longer
disappointed.
He's filled the void with something she's missed..... Love!
