Missing My Mom Poem by Victoria Gauci

Missing My Mom

When I was little I can't recall,
When you were not bearing all,
Hardships, pain and broken marriages,
All the while with baby carriages,
Raising me and the other four,
You worked so hard and ever more,
Gave us each all that we needed,
Lessons learned we deeply heeded,
Trial and error we go through life,
No one has a road less strife,
It was you who held us together,
A bond was formed to last forever,
You gave us each all that we require,
Filling our souls with spit and fire,
As we travel this path alone,
We never forget that place called home,
For in the word lies love so deep,
We miss you Mom, our hearts still weep,
We reminisce and know we're given,
Time with you again in Heaven.
