Missing U
Like kites without tails,
Like beaches without shells.
Like schools without teachers,
Like football fields without bleachers.
I’m missing u.
Like time without moments,
Like players without opponents.
Like tea time without tea,
Like the word love without L-O-V-E.
Years through and through,
Always missing u.
