I miss You every spring
As I wander through the empty fields
Of no hugs, kissless as the grave.
I miss You every summer
As I wander through the long,
Endless days of wanting You.
I miss You every fall
As I wander through the playless fields
where marching bands are silent.
Oh, I miss You like the flower
Misses the sun on a wintery night
As I wander through the frozen tundra of
Your Abscence.
But hope guides me every night
That I may drift to sleep and dream
Again and again that I feel the sunlight
Of Your eyes and the music of Your laughter
And then I live again.
