Missing You. Poem by D.A. Woods

Missing You.

When your alone in each and every night,
daytime fades and midnight brings blue,
a picture close to my heart and I hold it tight,
and think of a woman I once loved and knew.
But when love breaks down and crumbles to pieces,
you keep looking, searching for some reasons,
when love takes flight and disappears on the breeze,
you believe again and realise you're a loveless heathen.
So now your looking for some answers,
but they are miles away and hard to find,
the candles almost out, it begins to flicker,
wishing, hoping and praying for time to rewind.
