Missing You Poem by ameila scotty

Missing You

Rating: 5.0

Missing and wishing you were here
Now that you're gone, all I have are bittersweet memories that never fade
With an aching heart and emptiness the wishing for you to be here with me is agony initself

When you were here I knew that you were my rock a pillar I could lean on and divulge my pain and strife
But now you are gone
My tears never stop falling it feels like a storm that engulfs my soul and my screams roar like the thunder
My heart was once over flowing with genuine love secure in the safety of your heart. Now it's shattered into a million pieces impossible to mend
Every time I think of you my heart sinks into a darkness so painful I never knew existed….surrendering to the loss of you it feels like thorns of the most beautiful rose betrayed me by beckoning me to lie in it's garden of thorns.the physical pain is welcomed to numb the dying in my heart and soul…..why did you have to leave me here in pain…you can never come back you are with the light now and I am breathing in the dark.
