Tell me darling when you're not here,
Is it as cold for you as it is for me?
Tell me darling, I have to know.
Am I in your thoughts throughout the day?
Please tell me these things when you're away.
When you just can't stand it and you feel so alone,
Does it just make you want to pick up a phone?
Does being without me ever make you cry?
You have never told me but I don't know why.
I'm not asking you to tell me what I want to hear,
But not knowing your feelings brings me much fear.
Fear of losing your love is not what I mean,
Although it may sound that way it's not what it seems.
What I need to know comes from down in your heart,
Does being without me tear you apart?
Are you afraid to let me see you aren't as strong as you seem to be?
I need to know as a matter of fact,
So don't hold it in and please don't hold back.
I'm lost without you here with me...
