I Am So Proud To Call You My Mom Poem by Laura Anne

I Am So Proud To Call You My Mom

You were always there for me, even when you knew I was doing wrong
I just want to say I’m sorry and thank you.

I’m sorry for all those late nights when you stayed up late worrying about me.
I’m sorry for all those fights we had and I said things that made you sad.
You were tough but always fair. I may not have known it back then
But I know that now.

Thank you for letting me be me…
I am a better person today because you let me make mistakes and occasionally fall on my face..And you never said “I told you so”
Thank you

You are an inspiration to me..
You worked so hard, went back to school, you sang at church and you always had time for us.
You are the person I can only hope to be.
I love you.

Fine 'confession' … 'because you let me make mistakes and occasionally fall on my face.' It is poetical …
