Raindrops fall ever so gently down on the leaves.
Gray the skies, no light do I surely see.
My pen in hand I start to trace your name in a heart.
Missing you with all my heart you hold the key.

Soulmates derive off inspiration that really mean so much.
I need to write a love poem from my heart to yours.
Waiting so very carefully I close my eyes await your touch.

Feeling your hand stroking my hair calms me instantly.
Listening to my name being whispered gently, my ear hears.
Your passion covering me as a blanket keeping me warm.
Lover you are my obsession, with words written without fears.

When I miss you I journey in my mind through our poetry.
I can be anywhere with you in an instance, feeling you are with me.
Never can I have enough, you are the air that I breathe.
One day we will be able to make reality the dreams we both see.

Your voice calls to me, my mood is no more gloom.
The rain is stopped the gray sky now turns to a promising blue.
The yellow sun comes out, warmth covers my face.
My dear you chase the clouds away with the time I spend with you.
