Missing You Tonight - Poem by Mary Balthazar

My heart is lonely and blue
Thinking so much of you,
I miss the feel of your touch
That I love so very much.

Miles keeps us so far apart
Still I keep you in my heart,
Thoughts of you I'll implore
Until I hold you once more.

Bright as a colorful rainbow
Memories of our afterglow,
Shared in passion so sublime
As our lips meet the first time

Hearts burning with desire
Erupting emotions on fire,
Locked in embrace so divine
Forever our souls to entwine.

You are the only love for me
Forever in my heart you'll be,
No longer to be a memory
When we are joined eternally.
