I firmly resolved to follow
The path of action (karma)
Please set me on the side
Of righteousness always.

With the experience I earned
Make my life meaningful
Give me needed ability to serve
All my fellow beings needing help.

Never allow me to move toward
All things that glitter and attract
Turn my attention in the direction
Of things that'll last permanently.

Let me get totally absorbed
In the act of chanting Your name
Ensure my mission to attain salvation
Is attained as soon as it's possible.
