Mistake Poem by Desirée Lodge

Mistake

Baby, it wasn't my mistake.
When you saw me for the first time;
with these beautiful boldly eyes.
It wasn't a mistake, that you have seen me.
When you spoke to me;
your voice was amazing and adorable;
it wasn't a mistake convention, which you have made with me.

When you gave me a hug;
in your arms, made me felt so warm inside;
It wasn't a mistaken hug, that you've gave me.
When you kissed me;
with your soft smooth lips as infant’s skin;
It wasn't a mistaken kiss, that you've gave me.

When you left me;
Leftover with my broken pieces of heart;
it was a mistake that you did.
I've seen my world failing while you flew away.
I couldn't hear any sound, not even a joy sound.

When I tried to cuddle my teddy bear;
it doesn't hug me back but it was all I have got.
When I kissed it, it didn't kisses me back;
just gave me one of its stuffy on my lip.
It was sad.
But it’s ok;

I don't blame you for choosing it.
Baby... just admit it,
It was your biggest mistake;
that you've left me in the miserable world.
