Misty Memories Poem by Anne Williams

Misty Memories

Rating: 3.1

There they lie dormant in your mind,
Until they are roused and you begin to find,
Apparitions appearing before your eyes,
Swarming before you just like flies,
Faces fading ready for the next one to appear
Faces appearing then being pushed to the rear
Of your mind, there to be stored,
Amongst the other memories your mind will record,
Stored in the innermost recesses of your mind,
Misty memories you are bound to find,
Some of them happy, some of them sad,
All the memories you have ever had.
