Silent Love Poem by Anne Williams

Silent Love

That warm, strong hand encasing mine,
Gently caressing every inch, every sinew,
Those twinkling eyes with just a hint of mischief,
Those special eyes glinting like the morning dew,
Gaze on me knowingly, saying everything,
Just one glance is all I need to see,
To know I'm safe in your arms,
As they firmly but gently encircle me.
No words pass between us two,
No not one word, not one utterance,
For no words could say more,
Than we two can say with just a glance,
Those warm, sensuous, pliant lips,
Covering mine so knowingly,
Safely encircled in your loving caress,
Safely ensconced for eternity.
