Model Poem by Gabby Salinas

Model

She’s the one they call a model
the one you see on magazine covers.
You think she has everything don’t you?
Well as they say don’t judge a book by its cover.
She works hard for what she has
Hours and hours at the gym.
Still she cant get the guy she wants.
She sits there doing her hair.
All she can think of is her perfect boy.
She’ll never have him she knows.
As she pretends to be the perfect girl.
Those pictures you see. Its not her.
Sure she’s pretty with fame and fortune.
But its never enough is it?
So she’ll pose and smile for you all you want.
