Modern Living Poem by Raymond Farrell

Modern Living

I came to the subdivision
praised as an example
of modern development
one home after another
that all look alike
each with front brick facade
vinyl plastic sides and back ends
all laid out the same
you won't want to come home drunk
God only knows
whose couch you'd end up
passing out on.
