Modern Purist



MODERN PURIST
In every age, every society, every land, the purist is oppressive in nature, judgemental god in behavior and a robber in the garb of a saint. To him, corruption and adultery are not sins. In the sweet garden of life, he plucks Rosy instead of a rose. He is a master of deception and crooked paths. Even Satan stays away from his cunning schemes. His haunting fears are that someone, somewhere may not ask bold question from him and may not show the light of truth to his blind followers. Spirit of free enquiry is kufer to him. He has made a silver palace in this world, full of fruits, with flowing streams of milk, wine and honey. He fondly memorizes the holy scriptures but feels qualms to read the translation of Surah Takathur.
