Modern World Poem by Vanilla Thriller

Modern World

Worthless dreams
Exactly as it seems
Hopes not acted upon
Mindless intentions
With no intermissions
All what once was, gone
Misleading words
The intent to disturb
Even the coldest of hearts
Meaningless emotions
The tempting notion
To tell the evil and good apart
Homeless love
Its grave has been dug
In this world it soon will die
Flameless fire
No one inquires
Why it was built on lies
Judging souls
Whose main goals
Is to fix their faults by finding others
Corrupted lives
Words like knives
The damage they’ve done still hovers
Limiting restrictions
Born from the jurisdiction
Of ones who aim to hurt
Wordless memorial
Reality’s tutorial
Love’s coffin now covered with dirt
