'Mom' Poem by Martin Strain

'Mom'

I came into this world. Cold, scared and in pain.
You were there, you held me close and I knew everything would be ok.
Home from school, crying and hurt.
You were there, you held me close and I knew everything would be ok.
You’ve always been there, comforting me, letting me know it will all be ok.
Like a lighthouse in a storm, a pillow comforting my fall.

Your motherly love has guided me and comforted me throughout my life, without your love I wouldn’t be the man I am today

A lovely tribute to your mother. Well done, Martin.
