Mom, Im Sorry Poem by Jessica Licklider

Mom, Im Sorry

Rating: 2.7

im sorry for the pain i put you through
and all the tears i brought to you

i put you through hell
and this i could tell

i didnt do anything to fix it
all i did was make you feel like sh.t

i made many promises over & over
but all i did was stomp all over

mom, im sorry for the lies
with that your soul just cries

i know what ive done is wrong
i want our relationship to be strong

but i keep puching you away
i dont mean all the things i say

mom i love you and i want to apologize
so i can help our relationship rise

i wanna try to fix everything
that way our hearts sing

mom when i say this its true
mom, im sorry and i love you

Writers Note: teens go through rough things and dont make smart choices. we take our issues out on the ones we love. mothers and daughters often have these problems its hard and unbearable for both. the teen knows their causing pain but dont stop to think things through. teens are just misunderstood and need help finding their way. it takes time but everyone goes through it. these things suck which can cause mega consequences that we dont want to happen. when we realize its too late. love is strong and i know they will do anything to protect their babies. why do we put them through hell? we dont know but sometimes it just happens.

Dedicated to all the mothers and daughters that experience this just like what im going through
