You light up my soul like no one else
even when my darkness is unknown to you.
The lady who shines like no one else,
you are bigger than my fears and that is true.
Every word that you speak is a flint
that breaks my doubts and worries into powder.
Inspiring me, I get the hint,
and as I break free from fear, I am braver.

Your words are crystal clear and comforting,
intelligent and empathic to my being.
Soft to the heart, yet challenges growth,
you know when to be firm and forgiving, both.
All the more I am captured by you
as we conversed about white, gray, green, and blue.

Spending time with you was wonderful,
much more than spending time looking at the moon,
making me impatient, wanting it soon,
being with you, spending time so meaningful.
Your beauty outshines all and I'm struck
all that is around can't be defined, and I'm in luck
having spent that one moment that sped,
that moment when I was strongly captivated.
