Momentarily Poem by Yvonne M. Beseler

Momentarily

A slight bit of fluff
From a cottonwood tree
Floated through the air
Then landed on me.
It rested there briefly.
And then it was gone
For another gust of wind
Carried it on.

I touched your life
In much the same way
Caught on the edge,
Momentarily.
My touch was so light
You could not have known
I was using your strength
To build up my own.
